It All Began With a Vision

Isola Corvus Oy is a Finnish newcomer to the superyacht world—yet instantly distinct. Guided by a vision to combine architectural elegance with environmental innovation, the company set out to reshape how the world experiences the sea.

The journey began when founder Sami Lehtonen, a seasoned yacht builder and offshore sailor, recognized a gap in the market: a need for a sailing yacht that balances performance, sustainability, and cinematic serenity. What followed was a pursuit not of speed—but of stillness, presence, and precision.

With a clear concept in mind, Sami approached beiderbeck designs. The idea resonated instantly.

The design of Velarca 135 was brought to life by Immo Lüdeling and Tim Ulrich, co-founders of beiderbeck designs, who together has more than 50 years of experience in the design of super yachts. For 10 years both are on the A-list of 50 finest super yacht designers of the Boat International magazine.

Their reaction to the Velarca concept was immediate—and the sketches began the same day.

Today, Velarca 135 stands as a testament to their architectural finesse and timeless aesthetic.
